BMW Hydrogen 7 Meets Royal Approval
Prince Albert II of Monaco has just taken delivery of a new BMW Hydrogen 7 at the Ever Monaco environmental exposition in Monte Carlo. Only 100 of these hydrogen powered luxury performance cars are to be produced.
The new envirovehicle has already been acquired by Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Jay Leno and Placido Domingo.
But critics have said that the car is not as green as it purports to be. This is, in part, due to the energy used by the engine and the electricity needed to produce the liquid hydrogen fuel.
