The New Alfa Spider launches end February 2007

The New Alfa Spider is getting close to its UK debut planned for the end of February 2007.

Winner of the Best Cabrio of the Year award in the 2006 Geneva Motoroshow, and successor to one of the most iconic Spiders in the world, the new Alfa Spider will be launched in the UK in February 2006 and is available to order now from Alfa Romeo dealerships.

The new Alfa Spider will initially be available in two petrol versions, the 2.2 JTS 185bhp front wheel drive, and the four wheel drive 3.2 V6 Q4 260bhp. A diesel 2.4 JTDM and 200bhp will follow.
The prices for the New Alfa Spider will be:
£25,995 OTR for the 2.2 JTS and £31,250 OTR for the 3.2 V6 Q4.
The 2.2 JTS version delivers 138 mph maximum speed and reaches 0-62 mph in 8.8 seconds. The top of the range 3.2 V6 is capable of 149 mph maximum speed and 0-62 mph in 7.0 seconds.

Standard equipment for the 2.2 JTS will include:
Fully automatic roof
Dual Zone climate control
Cruise control
Steering wheel mounted audio controls
Multifunction display with trip computer
Reverse parking sensors
Electric heated and folding mirrors
Electric tilt seats
The 3.2 V6 also includes leather upholstery as standard.
