The Time is Right for the Aston Martin DBS
Aston Martin integrate the AMVOX2 DBS transponder into a new watch.
Aston Martin’s official watch making partner, the stylish Jaeger LeCoultre, have been designing cutting edge watches for Aston Martin for some time. The watch maker has existed in symbiosis with Aston martin making watches which beautifully match the cars they are built for.
This symbiosis has gone one stage further with unprecedented levels of interaction between the two products, the new watch and Aston Martin DBS. The new watch from Jaeger LeCoultre features high levels of technology fitted into the timepiece which allows the driver to gain access to the car using the watch.
Crafted into the watch is the transponder AMVOX2 DBS which operates as a key for the new DBS making it the ultimate accessory for the luxury sports car owner. Only Aston Martin dealerships will be able to activate the AMVOX2 DBS to operate with the owners car ensuring that security is maintained.
The case and dial of the AMVOX2 DBS Transponder are highly detailed, featuring a discrete suspended metallic grey Aston Martin DBS symbol on the face. The outer dial ring also has an opening that reveals the internal mechanisms of the chronograph and transponder functions, an allusion to the exposed brake callipers visible behind the sporting wheel rims of the DBS car.

It is the first time horology and automotive engineering have been combined in this way.”
