Volvo XC60 expected in 2009
Volvo’s latest four wheel drive SUV – the Volvo XC90 is due to go into production in 2009. Smaller than the best selling XC90 the XC60 will compete against a number of new compact SUV’s from the like of Audi, VW and Mercedes. Volvo claim the new car will be their safest car yet with a number of consumer orientated gadgets in the cabin. At launch 3 engine choices will be available – one petrol and 2 diesel engines based on the 2.4 litre D5. Expect leasing rates to be circa £300-£400 per month at launch.
